How to learn with Sixfootfour

We offer a mix of face to face, remote live, and pre-recorded lectures.

Face to face learning

This is a longer format course and includes workshop activities and other exercises to support improved comprehension of the topics. The workshop activities can be customised to suit the specific business objectives of the client. Each student will receive a workbook.
 

The recommended maximum attendees per course is 8 - 10.


The duration is between a half and 1 day depending on the course.


There is no minimum number of attendees, and it is recognised that students will have a better learning experience when they participate in a class with higher student numbers.

Remote live

This format refers to courses delivered through Teams or Zoom. You may elect to have a private course or attend one of the public courses as they come up.


A private course can include scaled down exercises.  We can work the training coordinator to provide workbooks if possible. For a public course the content will be presented as a lecture and the audience will make their own notes. 


The recommended maximum attendees per course is 12 - 15.


The duration is typically between 2 and fours depending on the course.


There is no minimum number of attendees, and it is recognised that students will have a better learning experience when they participate in a class with higher student numbers.

Prerecorded lecture

Each course is delivered in the format of a narrated lecture.

The participants listen to the pre-recorded video lecture through this learning portal (Sixfoot4.talentlms.com) and make their own notes.


 The duration is between 90 minutes and 4 hours depending on the course.


Each student has 30 days to compete the course.

Certification

At the completion of each course, every student will receive a certificate of attendance. 


In addition and through our strategic partnership with a leading Registered Training Organisation KnowledgeAccess, nationally recognised formal micro-credentials via Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) are available to all students. KnowledgeAccess is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO #40961) specialising in RPL for management qualifications. Upon completion of a course you can submit for an evidence-based assessment to attain a qualification. Qualifications start with a statement of attainment for individual courses and can aggregate into a Advanced Diploma in Leadership and Management.


Each course will provide the student with the templates or guidance necessary  to satisfy the RPL requirements.

The Sixfootfour Capstone Course

This course is a capstone course and an aggregation of all the other individual courses. It is designed to cover a broad range of business disciplines to support the student to deliver increased shareholder value through transforming the organisation to deliver improved productivity, business management practices, and operational excellence.

On successful completion you will understand:
  1. The drivers of shareholder value.
  2. How to understand the voice of the customer and build market demand for the organisation’s products and services.
  3. How to meet the increased demand without increasing production costs.
  4. How to improve productivity and increase the returns on capital employed.
  5. The operating model and how to increase the returns from the information assets.
  6. How to prepare for and execute a business transformation program.
